Orchestrating the Future: Integrity Vision presents Ukrainian experience in Kazakhstan
On 25 September, the Orchestrating the Future conference, organised by REUNICO, took place at MOST IT Hub in Almaty. The event brought together dozens of specialists in the field of automation, IT architecture, and digital transformation. Integrity Vision was a partner of the event, and our colleague Viktor Ivanchenko, Team Lead and Camunda-based solutions architect, shared his practical experience of transitioning from Camunda 7 to Camunda 8.
Why migration is a hot topic today
Camunda 7 is nearing the end of its life cycle. The last Community Edition release will be out in October 2025, and standard support for the Enterprise Edition will only last until 2030. This means that businesses relying on Camunda 7 need to start planning their next steps now.
During his presentation, Victor outlined all the key scenarios: from purchasing an Enterprise licence to choosing alternative BPM solutions. However, he identified the transition to Camunda 8 — a modern cloud-native platform with a long life cycle, new low-code development capabilities, and extended vendor support — as the main and strategically sound direction.
Key differences in Camunda 8
In his presentation, Victor explained in detail how the new version differs from the previous one:
- microservice cloud-native architecture;
- new approaches to deployment and infrastructure (Kubernetes as the recommended environment);
- a different way of interacting with processes via API;
- a new Tasklist and approach to user forms;
- changes in data storage and working with process history.
These differences require not just an ‘update,’ but also careful preparation of infrastructure, processes, and teams.
Recommendations from Integrity Vision

Victor's presentation was valuable precisely because of its practical focus. He shared recommendations on:
- assessing the current use of Camunda 7 and planning a migration strategy;
- preparing Kubernetes clusters and CI/CD for stable deployment;
- auditing and re-engineering business processes before migration;
- working with REST API and custom code;
- preparing the team for new approaches to development and maintenance.
Separate attention was paid to the issue of historical data migration and security, important aspects that companies need to consider at the very beginning of planning.
Integrity Vision — Recognised Migration Partner
In 2025, Integrity Vision was awarded Camunda Recognised Migration Partner status, becoming one of the world's top five companies with this expertise. Our presentation in Kazakhstan confirmed this status and was an important step in supporting regional partners and customers.
Together with REUNICO, we presented best practices that will help businesses in Central Asia prepare for the transition to Camunda 8 and do so as safely and efficiently as possible.
The Orchestrating the Future conference became not only a platform for sharing experience, but also a starting point for new joint projects. Integrity Vision will continue to share its expertise in Camunda migration and implementation, helping companies move confidently towards digital transformation.
